Zion Baptist Church with industry leaders in writing, publishing, editing, and film.  These industry experts teach focused workshops with topics related to writing, marketing and publishing.  The conference offers 1:1 meetings with faculty, including agents, as a part of the conference package.  Networking opportunities are built into the schedule.  Two contest opportunities exist for published and non-published writers.  The contests are the Wright Medal for published authors and the Tar Heel award for non-published writers.  The conference price is $299, with a special offer of $99 for students with a valid student email address.
